1 · Introduction
This policy describes how the Sepehr project handles personal data on its coming-soon page at sepehr.app. It applies only to this page and to email addresses submitted via the early-access form. A separate, more complete policy will cover the protocol itself once it launches.
2 · Data Controller
The Sepehr project is currently operated as an individual pre-launch initiative based in Europe. A formal legal structure will be established before any paid service launches, and this policy will be updated to reflect it.
For privacy inquiries: privacy@sepehr.app.
3 · What We Collect
Only the email address you submit through the early-access form. Nothing else — no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
Standard server request logs from our hosting provider (Vercel) may record IP addresses for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. These logs are retained by Vercel according to their own retention policy (typically up to 30 days) and are not accessed or aggregated by us for profiling purposes.
4 · Why We Collect
To send you, and only when there is something concrete to share:
- progress updates on Sepehr,
- notification when the testnet preview opens,
- notification when mainnet launches,
- occasional announcements (security disclosures, grants, partnerships).
That is the only use. Your address is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
5 · Legal Basis
Explicit consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You give consent by submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to privacy@sepehr.app.
6 · Who Has Access
- The Sepehr project team — kept to the minimum necessary.
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com), the form-handling service that receives the submission and forwards it to our inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf.
7 · How Long We Keep It
- Until you ask for deletion, or until two years after your last interaction with us, whichever comes first.
- Submissions stored on Web3Forms are deleted automatically after 30 days under their retention policy.
8 · Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- rectify inaccurate data,
- request deletion (right to erasure),
- object to processing,
- request portability of your data,
- lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@sepehr.app. We respond within 30 days.
9 · Data Transfers Outside the EU
- Web3Forms operates from the United States. Their privacy policy governs their handling of data they process on our behalf.
- Vercel, the hosting provider for sepehr.app, also operates from the United States. Their privacy policy covers their handling of request logs and infrastructure data.
10 · Changes to This Policy
This policy may evolve as the project formalizes its legal structure and prepares for launch. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date.
